What is RISQ?

RISQ is a dedicated web platform designed to streamline data management and reporting for the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) under the Paris Agreement. Built on a robust Drupal and PostgreSQL architecture, RISQ helps organizations and national authorities collect, structure, and submit climate data efficiently and transparently.

Depending on the active modules enabled for your instance, the platform provides a modular end-to-end workspace covering key reporting components:

  • GHG Inventories: Track, categorize, and validate emission sources and sinks.
  • Mitigation Actions: Monitor climate change mitigation policies, measures, and progress toward goals.
  • Adaptation Measures: Document vulnerability assessments, adaptation plans, and resilience impacts.
  • Support Provided, Needed and Received: Report financial, technological, and capacity-building support transparently.
  • Document Management: Store, organize, and archive official climate reporting references, activity data source files, and verification proof.
  • QA/QC Procedures: Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols, validation checks, and data verification workflows.
